Awarded Mixed Media Prize at Concord Art

What a thrill to be awarded the Mixed Media Prize at Concord Art for "A Little Birdie Told Me #5"!!!

A special thanks to the juror, Kelley Lehr, for choosing my work, and also, for her thoughtful write-up about my piece (see close-up photo below). She is the owner of Greenhut Galleries and Cove Street Arts in Portland, ME.

One of Ten Artists Chosen to Exhibit at Fitchburg Art Museum

It is an honor to have my piece, "You Play The Girl", chosen for "In Transition", an exhibit at the Fitchburg Art Museum running from July 22 to October 25, 2020.

Third Place at 'Arts In Bloom 2017' - Hopkinton Center For The Arts

I'm delighted to announce that 2 of my pieces have been selected for "Arts In Bloom" at the Hopkinton Center For The Arts, with 'Rising' being awarded 3rd Place.

"Shadow Dance" and "Rising" are both limited edition pigment transfer prints. They were created from various hand-drawn elements and monotypes that were blended through my own digital process. The final prints were made using a modern-day transfer technique where the image is hand pressed onto specially prepared fine art paper with archival pigment inks.

I'm pleased to announce that "Listen While I Fly" has been awarded Second Place in Artists Corner & Gallery's "Flora & Fauna" Show opening this Friday, April 7th.

"Rising" has been awarded 2nd place in the People's Choice Award at The Artists Corner & Gallery in West Acton, MA.

The theme of the show is "Peace".

This lovely quote was provided as inspiration in the Artist Call For Entry:

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
