It is an honor to have my piece, "You Play The Girl", chosen for "In Transition", an exhibit at the Fitchburg Art Museum running from July 22 to October 25, 2020.

This is a collaborative effort between ArtsWorcester and The Fitchburg Art Museum(FAM) and was conceived as a "Call and Response" with two exhibitions to take place: the first at ArtsWorcester and a second at FAM.

The first was held earlier this spring with members of ArtsWorcester submitting one work of their choice inspired by the theme of "transition". In support, FAM loaned ten pieces from their permanent collection including works by Robert Rauschenburg, Laylah Ali, John O'Reilly, and Angela Strassheim.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 struck shortly after the first exhibit was mounted and never opened to the public. Nonetheless, ArtsWorcester rose to the challenge and did a great job of featuring each piece through social media.

From the exhibit at ArtsWorcester, ten artists' works were selected by Marjorie Rawle, Terrana Curatorial Fellow at FAM. These will be on view at the museum in their Community Gallery along with the ten pieces from the permanent collection.
