"Sweet and Sour" Chosen For Danforth Art Museum Exhibition
Thrilled to share that my artwork, "Sweet and Sour," has been selected for the prestigious Danforth Art Museum Annual Juried Exhibition!
This year’s exhibition was curated by a distinguished panel of jurors, including Jessica Roscio (Director and Curator, Danforth Art Museum), Lauren Szumita (Director, Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Art Gallery, College of the Holy Cross), and Yumi Park-Huntington (Professor of Art History, FSU). Out of nearly 400 submissions, only 98 artists were chosen for this highly competitive show, making it an incredible honor to be among them.
"Sweet and Sour" is a complex, multi-layered mixed media piece constructed using dura-lar, plexiglass, and paper on aluminum composite. The work features a range of materials, including acrylic paint, ink, transfers, colored pencil, graphite, and silk thread.
Thank you to the Danforth Art Museum and the jurors for this amazing opportunity. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the exhibition!
