ArtsWorcester's "The Fifth Annual One"

I just recently became a member of ArtsWorcester and am excited to participate in their upcoming show, "The Fifth Annual One", where each member is invited to bring the single piece they want to exhibit most, regardless of medium or theme. Over 130 artists will be participating.

I have chosen to exhibit "Place Of Beginning", a mixed media work constructed on layers of Dura-Lar (translucent film), acrylic sheet, and wood panel. This piece is the first in my new series and is near and dear to my heart. Read more about it here.

The Opening Reception is Friday, June 16th from 6:00 - 8:30pm. Award-winning works will be selected by Roger Hankins, Director of the Cantor Gallery at the College of the Holy Cross and announced at the reception. Refreshments will be served.

A downtown gallery walk is also happening on the same night. Other participating venues include Nine Dot Gallery, Davis Art Gallery, and the artisanal cocktail bar, the Muse.
