Third Place at 'Arts In Bloom 2017' - Hopkinton Center For The Arts

I'm delighted to announce that 2 of my pieces have been selected for "Arts In Bloom" at the Hopkinton Center For The Arts, with 'Rising' being awarded 3rd Place.

"Shadow Dance" and "Rising" are both limited edition pigment transfer prints. They were created from various hand-drawn elements and monotypes that were blended through my own digital process. The final prints were made using a modern-day transfer technique where the image is hand pressed onto specially prepared fine art paper with archival pigment inks.

"Place Of Beginning" on exhibit at the Milton Art Center

I'm excited to announce that "Place Of Beginning" has been accepted into Milton Art Center's Second Annual Juried Show opening March 24th.

This is the first in a new series of mixed media works constructed on layers of Dura-Lar (translucent film), acrylic sheet, and wood panel. Continuing my interest in fusing hand techniques with digital processes, some of the methods and materials used include image pigment transfers, colored pencil, ink, graphite, and collage.
