Exhibiting at Gallery Twist Show: "Flights Of Fancy"

Gallery Twist's upcoming show, "Flights Of Fancy", opens on September 23rd, and will feature over 200 artworks from more than 50 artists.

I'm delighted to have my most recent work, "A Little Birdie Told Me", included in this exhibition. I created this image as a series of 5 variable edition pigment transfer prints that diverge from one another through minor changes in color and composition, as well as the hand application of colored pencil. 

Using both traditional hand techniques and digital processes, I first create a diverse assortment of ink drawings and monotypes, which are then scanned into Photoshop and combined to form a collage. After printing to a specially coated film, the image is then hand-pressed onto paper soaked with solvent to release the ink from the film. Once dry, I use colored pencil to add the final touches.

The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 5 pm (masks optional).
