I'm very excited to share the news that my piece, "Rising", will be showing at the 13th Annual Blanche Ames National Art Exhibition this fall. I am especially honored that my artwork was chosen for the postcard and catalog cover.

"Rising" is a limited edition pigment transfer print of a mixed media digital artwork. Image size: 23-1/2" x 8-3/4".

The juror for this year's show was Todd Bartel.

The exhibit takes place at the Ames Mansion, located in Borderland State Park. The mansion was built in 1910 by Oakes Ames, a Harvard botanist, and his wife, Blanche Ames, an artist and feminist. Her paintings still hang in many of the rooms, amidst their books, art collection, and furnishings.

Fun fact: Several scenes for the recent "Ghostbusters" movie were filmed in the mansion.
