I am excited to be a part of this year's Members Juried 2 Show at the Concord Center for the Visual Arts. This exhibit spans the disciplines of collage, crafts, drawing, graphics, mixed media, photography, and printmaking.

"Teacher's Pet" is one of my most recent works. It is a mixed media assemblage constructed with archival polyester film and plexiglass on wood panel. Media used include ink, acrylic paint, colored pencil, pigment transfers, and graphite.

This piece features a translucent surface through which more deeply embedded elements can be seen. Varying levels of clarity and obscurity give voice to the mysterious and intangible.
